I have 60 spoke steel wire wheels - the "original Dunlop" type - and I am trying to replace two of the short spokes.and, as yet, I'm stumped. Anyone got any tips? Thanks. Simon Lachlan Comfort House

Kinda hard to answer you question--but I have done this a number of times. You just have to work at it--twist and turn until the spoke drops in. Put a little grease on the spoke--this may help. tom

I am assuming you have broken the tire down to where you can get to the inside of the wheel. You should be able to do the replacement with the tire on the wheel. Move the rubber wheel liner thingie
