Is the choke sticking on when used?, is the jet going all the way up as you lean the mixture, sometimes after a rebuild they are a little tight and even though you turn the adjustment they don't go u

The nylon float adjustment you are talking about has almost nothing to do with whether the car runs rich or not. I know that American style Carter and Holley carbs can work this way, but SU carbs ar
