- I really want to salvage my original choke control and I seem to remember reading somewhere that a new cable could be soldered in. It looks to me like it's held in by solder...anyone done this ? Step

- Yes, it works great. I followed Norman Nock's instructions to the letter and I've repaired a number of original choke cables this way. It basically involves using a big fat old fashioned type solderi
