- It is stainless steel mesh and can be bought at many race shops. It comes in a variety of sizes. I believe 1/4" is the size on the Works rally cars. I doubt that it's much more than a Sat. job to fab

- Rick, you may be just kidding about this.... but the balance tube size is matched to the size of the three manifold vacuum tube mounting outlets... 1" for the larger and 3/4" for the earlier smaller
