I just filled my gas tank for the first time and it leaks. My gas tank is new. The sending unit new from Nissongers, with a new gasket, however it is leaking between the unit and the tank. I've tight

To clarify, the gasket for the cover of the sending unit is cork. I replaced it with a thicker one I made (approx 1/8" thick). The gasket between the sending unit and the tank is some kind of rubber
