I braced my manifolds from the center down to the bottom edge of the block with a rubber button on the bottom of the steel tube brace, so the support was there not not extra vibration. Never Be beate

sounds alot like the Weber brace found on a fine wet liner motor from Italy. At the trans, I used a pair of old valve springs to provide some compliance in an otherwise solid mount. art de armond --
