Probably not a bad deal if it worked out. Why wouldn't they just replace the tubes though? While you have it all apart and clean you might want to put a little weld on the joint between the tube and

I know there are some folks out there who will bend rear end assemblies to get some negative camber and toe into them. The circle trackers especially seem to have this figured out. ;) -Bob Adams
