hi all, thx for the welder info. question about gas welders. I was hoping to get one that did not require gas. I don't know how much I would use it and would prefer not have a filled tank sitting in

There is oxy-acetylene of course which is supposed to be the most versatile and most difficult. MIG and TIG use an electric arc and an inert shielding gas. This is supposed to reduce spatter and stuf
