The manufacturers of harnesses that I've checked out on the web all seem to recommend keeping the angle less than 45 degrees, for the shoulder harnesses, for the reason given. They sure don't have to

Hi again! In the parcel area of my '69, I see a nice bit bolt on each side in the wheel arch. Looks like a hookup for a shoulder harness. The seat belts have what looks like a hookup for the person e

Dear Friends, I use the "stock" shoulder harnesses and route them over the top (outer-edge) of each seat-back. I don't have a rollbar (yet!). The harness stays in place, except when I lean over too f

Hello All, I also use the stock 30yr old harnesses. They work fine but are not very fun. They are not retractable like modern belts. For the driver, you can set them up fine and they really hold you

I've got both types of belts. The original shoulder strap in my '70 that goes to the wheel arch, keeps slipping off my shoulder. I'm thinking about attaching a loop on the seatback to hold it in plac
