Dang, that's the truck I was looking for! Got rid of the Dodge Behemoth and wasnted something of reasonable size until the 320 is done (no time soon). Used trucks out here in TX are horribly overpric

isn't the "Toyota Corolla 1988 SR5" a car? if it's the one i'm thinking of, it's a favorite of the "drifter" set as it is light and has rear wheel drive. or am i all wet and it is a truck? s /// dats

Corollas are cars, not trucks. '88 and newer are FWD, and SR5 is standard engine, not the high out put version like used in the MR2. You want a 4AGE engine from an 84-87 Corolla GTS. Those years are

I've had two MR2's. The 85 model had a 4age and really liked to scream. The rev limiter was set at 7550 and saved me countless times from reving it till only dogs could hear the exhaust note. The 89

The motor in question was cut in half by a rod. The guy I purchased the car from said it had a bad rod. He just didn't say that the rod was no longer in the motor. Here is a photo. http://www.picture
