- Hey List. Anyone have first hand experience with putting a 1600 rear end differential on a 2000. I know on paper it should be faster off the line but is it noticeable in the actual car. Also there is

- Dave, You will go from a 3.7 in the 2000 to a 3.9 in the 1600. It will have faster acceleration but a slower top speed for the same RPM. Bob BTW: I do not have my car together but I have the 3.9 gear
