I am tearing down an H20 forklift engine. The crank sprocket for the PTO will not budge. Has anyone encountered this before. I thought perhaps Lok-tite is on there. It sure is locked tight. Mallory /

Sorry, Haven't torn down a Forklift Engine. On some engines, like the old VW air cooled, the sprocket is heated then dropped in place. Interference fit, so it stays put. Just wondering if the same is

I've heated it, lubed it, gear pulled it, brass hammered it, begged it and cursed it. Did I miss something? It seems to be a simple slip fit with a key; same as the timing sprocket and pulley. I gues
