After going through all the trouble shooting suggestions given on fixing my gas and temperature gauge intermittent problems, I broke down and order a new gauge voltage regulator from NissanParts.cc.

ON the same subject, does anyone know if the 89 pickups have the same voltage reg that the earlier cars do?? My Pickup's temp and fuel gauges drop to zero occasionally and I don't know where to start

I would look for a loose/dirty connection first. It's cheaper. I bet NAPA has the regulator you need - if you need it - or google it. Mike
