In restoration attempt, removal of grime off engine uncovered original blue...can someone recommend a blue present day brand/number to use for repaint ? This is not a purist question, close is OK.. T

If close will work Dupli-color makes an engine paint in Chevrolet Blue. The old Chevrolet Blue Flame 6 cylinder engines in the mid to late 50s were painted blue. This is very close to the original Da

Like John says, if close is good enough, this blue will do. The OEM color is a bit greener, almost a teal, but the chevy blue looks nice and clean.
