I've been told NO, car CD players are not meant to play sideways. The other reply is correct that the area isn't deep enough unless you fabricate something to push the head unit forward, and on a 200

I was in a Roadster at the Glen in which the owner put a CD player vertically. It seemed to work OK driving around the Glen and hitting all those bumps didn't cause it to skip. Mike is...has trunk //
