We're running alloy wheels formerly on a 280Z on our '69 2000. They should work just fine. Remember, lots of parts are interchangeable on the roadsters and Z cars, especially wheels!

If you have recurved your distributor and removed the smog equipment, the 240Z water neck can be used on the 2000. You may have to use a rat tail file to enlarge the bolt holes, but it will work. I k

This is where your wheel offset becomes the critical element. If the offset is correct, 195 60 14's are an excellent selection. But there doesn't seem to be too may wheels that fit the bill. I know t

The proper offset for the Roadster is 15mm. The Z uses "0" offset, hence the problem. You can get by with using Z mags if you use a narrower tire (like 175). Also, depends upon the width of the rim.

The stock 280 ZX wheels 6x14" had 10 mm offset. We never had any 280 ZX sold with steel wheels in Sweden. My first 240Z had 6x14" slot mags made in Japan with 10 mm offset. The more common (in Europe

Depends on the offset. I run 185/65s with no problem on "kidney bean" wheels from a Z. It also depends on whose 195/60 tire you run as they are all a little bit different - some wider, some thinner,

Offset and backspacing is not the same thing. Offset is positive unless specified negative. Negative offset is not common on wheels today and it would not fit a Roadster without big flares. European
