It sounds like it is running a little rich especially if the plugs are wet and compression is ok. I am not familiar with the solex carbs yet so someone else will have to tell you if you need smaller

I was of the impression that roll bars need to be mandral bent to meet racing standards. Muffler tube benders do not give the same type of bend so may not be legal for racing. Bob Moscow
