Brake switch is adjustable usually just above the pedal under the dash there should be a switch with wires coming out from it. There should be a jam nut to undo. At least it is like this on my 67.5.

Ben, Since both of your cars are 1600s, the rear axle ratio is 3.899 (3.9). They should be the same. It would be a good idea just to replace the seals, repack the bearings and replace the pressed on

If you had parts, like bolts plated, you will find that the bolts have a larger diameter. This means that they are bigger now and may not thread into the original holes.
