I think clorox is pretty harsh on paint as it's an oxidizer. I hope you went back over the area with paint cleaner and wax after that? Of course, in your case, I'm sure the pros outweighed any cons.

XORust is also pretty good stuff. Not nearly as tough as POR-15. And you'd probably want to get rid of all of the rust before using it. But it's much cheaper than POR and Eastwood. You can get it at
