Is the body "triangle" that blocks the starter able to be removed from the wheel side or just the engine side? And can a regular drill be used? My 1600 starter should probably get checked but I know

My thermostat housing studs are looking a little worn but still OK. Has anyone ever used that POR stuff on the studs to help keep out the water? I know that packing the stud housing with grease has

I blew up a battery once too, years ago.,in my previous Roadster (67). Somehow the hood prop got loose and laid across both poles of the battery whiile I was driving..BOOM. Looking under the hood the
