So to clarifya Delrin body with a steel ball in it? Or a steel ball and pivot cup with Delrin around the cup? My only concern would be that the fastening (the bolt holes and the ears) would be stiff

I agree- the Delrin as a bearing surface will last longer than steel- onsteel... Nothing wrong with Delrin as a bearing at all- I was just not clear on the housing material!

If it's running rich, check your float levels and needle valves before you get too far into it. The valves, especially, can cause all sorts of problems if they stick or seep... hth, Toby

Oooh, that's a trick question, isn't it? The tie rod ends are adjustable, so they don't really torque! (no, sorry, I don't know the torque for the nuts, but 'nice and snug' hasn't failed me yet!) heh
