- I've got an ex Discovery 3.9 in my Westfield. I think all the Disco engines are stiff-blocks. Standard CR is 9.35. You are right - it is not tuned for revs, but chip and cam change with a lighter fly

- I have an EFI 3.9 from a Land Rover Discovery that lacks a tune resistor for the ECU. I have been told that for a cat equipped car it should be a white one. Green (rather perversely) is for no cats.
