- My '85 Lotus esprit recently had its water pump broken down, and I heard from a Mini fanatic that all British cars have weak bearings and the water pump have to be renewed every 15,000 miles or so. H

- This brings up an interesting point -- where do you get float level settings for aftermarket carbs? I have a 34DMTR on my X1/9, and haven't been able to find any documentation on this carb anywhere (
