Oh, yes, another question. When one retorques the head, should the antifreeze be drained to ensure that none seeps into the cylinders while the bolts are loose, or is this unlikely? Ray Gibbons Dept.

Re-torquing the head means to set your torque wrench at the specified setting and repeat the torque sequence. Of course there is not an American car head gasket that needs to be re-torqued. Long liv
