- Thanks to Andy Green, I think I have isolated my MGB's running problems to an old worn timing chain. I am in the midst of replacing it, but I don't have a socket big enough for the crank pulley bolt.

- As I remember, it's a 1-5/16 socket. They are expensive and usually require a 3/4 drive. When I faced this problem, I went to Habor freight and bought a whole 3/4 drive set with the socket for less
