What about using aluminum washers? That wouldn't corrode any faster than the body, and would bend to fit the curvature of the body in that area. Glue seems like a better choice than solder for this

Or think, for that matter. 200 scale mph on a 1/24 scale dragster is about 8 "real" mph. It should take very little in the way of analysis of power-to-weight ratio to realize that 8mph is sorta low.
