- Does anybody have a part number for a thermostat for a 74? I couldn't find one in the parts cross reference list. Thanks, Dennis

- Dennis, I haven't seen an answer to your question, but you should be able to get one at any autoparts store. Just ask for a thermostat for a Gremlin or Hornet with the 360 V8. John John T. Blair WA4O

- Has anyone tried one of these MotoRad Fail Safe thermostats? http://www.indussys.com/customer/motorad/motorad.htm They sound like a good idea. I had a thermostat fail once in my Bricklin. Scott Isens

- They are the only ones I use in any vehicle. No if's and's or buts. The cost a bit more but if they fail (and one will eventually) they fail open instead of closed. They have saved at least 2 engines
