The battery holddown is two rods. The first comes across the top of the battery. It hooks into the metal plate you noticed at the back of the battery compartment then runs across the top of the batte

In '75, the radiator had to be tilted to allow the new (Ford) engine to fit. The fan is not parallel to the radiator and doesn't draw air as efficiently as the '74s. There are fairly large difference

Cooling system flush kits can help clean some of the junk out of your cooling system. I haven't tried using one when the radiator is out. It would probably be best to use that when you put it back in

I used NAPA #480 1/2" double face attachment tape. It has held fine for about 10 years now. It is easy to work with. Stick it to the molding first, then just lay the molding in place. Scott Isensee /

If you go with an electric fan, make sure you get one with the highest output (CFM rating) you can find. Cheap ones won't pull nearly as much air as an engine driven fan. The alternative I chose was
