I used the 3M Windo-Weld. It physically holds the glass in fine, but didn't completely keep out water in a heavy rain. A bead of clear silicone fixed that problem. Scott Isensee

I put a brass tube (is that the ferrule?) inside the plastic tubing to keep it from collapsing when the compression collar tightens. That appears to have sealed the leak. I'll let it sit a day or so
