Number 466 is not stock. Just the removal of the air pump will make it more interesting to pass emmissions, but virtually ANY car can be made to pass those requirements. Carl

If the points were not opening at all, the primary field in the coil would never collapse (for the un-educated, that translates to no spark EVER). Out of adjustment, possibly-I never did look at them
