I've done it a couple times; so far I haven't had any problems. Usually wore out the tire before it started leaking. Scot

I thought it was not cool to plug steel belted tires because the steel belts will wear/cut through the plug thus the tire will leak air? I thought the only way to repair a radial tire was to patch it

As it turns out, this is now a non-issue for me. The third puncture I found in the tire will not hold a plug, so I'll have to replace it. Good thing I kept my old set of SP8000's! And they're even at
