Sorry but all BMW's have MacPherson struts in the front, and the E36 has a multilink rear.. sot the only advantage is the rear.. anyway a live axle is better for pro solo starts..

I just verified this on my car scales. Equally raising both corners increases the weight on the end that was raised. No surprise, Byron was right. -Curt
