By coincidence, just today I replaced my old Lucas Alternator in my 5 with a Bosch unit with the internal regulator. I reconnected the field + lead and the charging lead and now the alternator now sh

I have had some enquiries about how I changed the alternator so here it is. The model I used was a small Bosch unit from a late (90's) model Nissan car. The model number is 9120060855, U-K1- 14V--45A

OOps, The Bosch field connection + is connected to the brown purple wire that was on F+ and the other end of that lead was removed from the 6RA C2 and connected to the white wire removed from the 6RA
