- Yea, those clutch masters are pretty hard to clean because there is that baffle inside the fluid reservoir. I soak them in a cold parts cleaner, rinse with water, blow with compressed air and see if

- The black sludge is most likely disolved rubber. Perhaps from DPO use of DOT3 brake fluid? Jarrid Gross

- One really can't get a brake cylinder hone in there and really it should be polished with 400-600 paper especially the aluminum brake masters. The hone is fine for the cast iron slave, but I wouldn'
