- I had a problem like this. It turned out to be the ignition switch, which I was able to disassemble and repair. However, the repair only lasted a short time and I had to ultimately buy a new switch.

- It could be a loose connection on the back of the ignition switch. More likely it is a bad contact in the switch itself. It can be dismantled, so it's possible it could be repaired. If not, then it'
