I don't think alcohol is a very strong solvent. I would just used lacquer thinner and compressed air. Lacquer thinner is a great cleaner and I have never use alcohol except to relax while watching S

How about...brake cleaner fluid? It dissolves grease and gunk, doesn't leave residue, doesn't absorb water (like methanol). It also evaporates quickly once you put the compressed air to it. Theo Dan,
