It seems that I'm always having to fill the oil in my CD150's. They definately do not leak. Where is this oil going and why does it seem to leave so quickly? I'm refilling these things every 3-4 week

The needles are installed in the bottoms of the pistons. You probably leak through there. I think the needles need some sort of non-hardening sealant put on them when you put the carbs together. Jar

I did a complete rebuild on mine awhile back and ....No leaks. Now if it sets for 3-5 months then I have to put abit in , but non-serious stuff. I use the Harly Davidson shock oil in mine and have fo
