- This might be a little late in the conversation, but... My buddy suggested "soda" blasting to remove paint. They use regular baking soda, which doesn't hurt the metal and is environmentally friendly.

- It's definitely a MC problem. Something inside binding and not letting the piston all the way back to release the pressure. Rebuild or replace it. gary
