I had a similar problem with my Series 5 Alpine. I replaced the Ignition Light relay. I also replaced the Field Isolating relay at the same time so I can't really say which relay did the trick but i

That was my concern when I wanted 14" wire wheels. You forgot to tell Siegfried about the custom 14" wires that Dayton made for me last year. They used the Alpine hub and meshed 72 ss spokes and set
