I agree. BUT, I've seen no evidence of leakage - no stains, no smells. That's part of why I'm so puzzled. I filled up today - about 11 gallons, but I had only traveled about 100 miles. That's 9 mpg,

Eric--If you're burning fuel at the rate of 9 mpg it would surely show up in the spark plug coloring. Take a peek at #2 & 5. Also check the dipstick for any gains in the oil level. Then see if one of
