- Out of curiosity, who here zips out the back window of their soft top before putting the top down? I'm assuming that doing so would help fend off scratches. Paula K '71 TR6

- like michael, I have never unzipped my rear window either. I always read to lay the top on the trunk lid while folding the frame down then fold the top over and the ears folder afterward. i just put

- I've always unzipped as suggested in my owner's manual but yesterday I tried not unzipping the window. Even with the roll bar (narrower version) and speakers mounted on the shelf, the top folded nice

- I notice that it is impossible not to get the fold on the small side windows, when folding the sides in. I had always been taught on MG's to fold at the area between the backlight and the side window

- My top is installed so the fold is between the side windows and rear window. I very rarely stow my top with the backlight unzipped. I don't place a towel over the backlight and the top's been on the
