Very possible it's an OD cable. Although I did specify a non-overdrive cable when I ordered it. At the moment, it doesn't seem to matter as I pulled the speedometer this evening and took it apart an

My speedometer needle in my 76 was wiggling back and forth wildly then snapped most of the needle off and nows spins fast clockwise. But there is enough stub left to point if I can get the needle to
