There are two 1/4" holes, 4 1/4" apart, in the horizontal surface of the right bulkhead, just aft of the w/shield washer bottle. Was there something there, or did a PO make them, or are they Triumph

I'm not sure if all TR6's have those holes, but mine does. There was originally a metal speaker holder (for a 6x9 speaker if I remeber right) that was mounted under that panel, aimed at the passenger

I have a '71 with the original speaker attached (still there)... I'm sure it sounded killer in it's time ;-) I found it when replacing the heater hoses under the dash after a frame on restoration. C

Mine has 'em.....I put them in there to hold a speaker. They were not OEM HTH Bill '70 6

My 6 also had a bracket that was bolted to the horizontal area using two screws. The bracket held a speaker (seemed to be original, the paper was crumbling) and now holds a fuse box. Pim Pimento '73
