The reason it is too short is because the plastic molding shrinks over time, so the joint gets wider. That is what happened to my TR250 over the 45 years I've owned it. ______________________________

I think the Roadster Factory sells different lengths, maybe Moss, but pretty sure it is TRF, the plastic sorround does can shrink over time. Greg ________________________________________ 6pack@autox.

I do not think the chrome strip shrinks, it actually relaxes into the corners over time causing the gap to expand. You can install a new chrome strip and leave the ends overlapping while the chrome s

Did all TR6s come with plastic? I have metal trim, with two metal pieces that cover the gaps. I bought it years ago, and have just replaced my windshield and gasket. Been trying to work up the nerve
