I use a marine/boat grade extinguisher that I picked up at Home Depot. It's small enough to stow easily. No frills... no chrome plating... just a white, compact extinguisher. I keep mine in the boot

I agree, just get a good one rated for gasoline ( I think B-C is right), throw away the plastic bracket and put it right behind the drivers seat. It doesn't move around at all back there. Best $10 in

Somewhere along the line Halon got a bad rap. Before all of this happened I got six of the smallest ones and placed them around home and cars.(It fits nicely inside the glove box) I used one of these
