Westmoreland
County Run
by Ken Mikos
You are all invited to a run-on September 30th through
some of the best backroads that Westmoreland County has
to offer. With the summer heat winding down, plan on meeting
around 2:30 with a 2:45 departure from the Murrysville
Market District (4810 Old Wm Penn Hwy) parking lot which
is located about 15 minutes from the Monroeville Turnpike
and the Murrysville 376 Exits.
Please make sure your tank is topped off as there are
limited stations available on the run. After the drive, we will
end up at Joey=E2=80=99s the Edge (5904 Washington Ave) in Export.
Joey Ferri (owner) has attended several of our breakfasts
on his vintage motorcycles and spoke to our group about
his adventures on the Cannon Ball Runs will have parking
spots available for the group.
Joey=E2=80=99s offers a limited grilled meal selection (which I
recommend) with a wide range of beverages available. If you
want a more complete meal, Jiggers is 1 block down. Lastly,
there will be a Blues Band playing out of Joey=E2=80=99s garage that
evening so bring a folding chair as the site does not provide
seating. Looking forward to seeing all of you then.
