Andy,
A good thermostat will keep the coolant from getting too cold. Is it
possible that your car is missing the T-stat, or that it is stuck open?
I've always avoided car bras, as any bits of dirt under it, act like
sandpaper.
Best regards,
Jack

Subject: Looking for bra for '62 TR4
Hello All-
Am new to this list, I think. I was on a Triumph list a couple of years
back, but things change and I had less time to spend with my TR and so I
dropped off.
Anyway, she's back on the road and with cold weather here in Boston, soon as
I get her warmed up, a short way down the street, she's cold again. Any
ideas where I can get a bra for the front end? I think I've seen one for a
TR3 that has a zipper in the middle so you can adjust the amount of air
passing through the radiator. That would be perfect.
All ideas, thoughts, suggestions would be welcome.
