Subject: using naphthalene balls(moth balls) as an octane booster
Hello,
I am an 11th grade student attending the Kansas City Science Fair.I
just read your article on homebrew octane boosters
[<http://www.vtr.org/maintain/gasoline-octane.html>] and I didnt see
anything about using naphthalene products. My project is to see what
household products will raise the octane of gasoline the best.I am
interested in using naphthalene based products but I need help on how to
measure the octane, will this work, and what products contain the chemical.
Your cooperation and help will be truly appreciated. Please respond as soon
as possible.
Thank You
