Subject: Top Speed of TR6?
Please can you help.
I am British but am living in Germany. A German friend who has imported
an American market TR6 is just finishing restoring it and has asked me for
help with some technical questions. To pass the German TUV test (road
worthiness) he needs to provide details of engine size, weight, brake
horse-power, etc. These I have all found except that I can't find the top
speed claimed for the car by the manufacturers. His TR6 is a Oct 1971
build, carburettor, 2498cc, Chassis CC 76254. Can you help, what is (or
more accurately was) the top speed of his TR6?
Yours aye,
Jim Ross jwross@bunt.com
