Thought I'd pass this along first "internally." If interested in the car,
please call the phone number given; DON'T reply to anyone here! :-)
And thanks, Kevin, for tipping us off to this car!

Subject: RE: 1971 GT-6 Mark III
Dear Sirs,
I am a TR-250 owner located in Lexington, KY. A friend of mine is in
the market for a TR-6 and came upon a local owner selling a 1971 GT-6 by
parking it in her front yard with a "for sale" sign on it.
Believe it or not, this car is owned by an older woman and has only
52,000 original miles on it. Seems solid with little/no rust and is in
working order. Has only minor dents/scratches etc. I think this is a
good car for someone in the market and feel she might come down from her
$3,500 asking price. Her phone number is: 606 269-6414.
I am not in the market and have no personal/professional/business
relationship with the seller. I feel someone in VTR club looking for
such a car might give it a good home and I would prefer to see it bought
by an enthusiast who will restore it rather than someone who might use
it up and junk it.
Regards,
Kevin F. Phillips
